I'll update the list as needed. Any thought on the candidates so far? There are now six candidates for Council. That's better.
As of September 12th (the deadline), the last group of candidates has finally surfaced. To the list, we now see: Larry Lacroix, Doug Greig and Dan Williams.
So it appears the current batch of coucillors are all trying to get re-elected. Will they succeed? Only you can decide.
It's amazing that Greig, Crichton and Lacroix are running again - what can they point to as accomplishments?

DeleteHello, My Peeps,.... the Nomination Certification process is NOT complete until Monday...believe me, I read all 23 pages of the Ontario Elections Process.., ON YOUR BEHALF, gall darn it. This is, of course, in case there was a last-minute rush at 2 o'clock on Friday and the local Clerk of said Ontario Municipality, even Toronto, doesn't have time or resources to vet those persons before closing at 5 pm Friday....makes sense, really......and being the vain freaks we are, we wait to see who we're up against until the last F'n minute before filing....so, there may be others on the Chapleau List yet to be exposed... but at 3/9, we aren't running all that shabby...Democracy is an amazing thing ..
