Prioritizing

While we wait for the new municipal council to begin their mandate, I was wondering if anyone had any items they would like to address.  I firmly believe that this election campaign has energized people like never before.  It is my hope that this new eneergy will bring about many positive changes in our community.  I for one, feel that establishing new industries should be the main priority, as any other improvements to our community will no doubt trickle down from there.  Let me know what you think is important for the future of Chapleau.  I am anxious to hear what the people of Chapleau have to say.

  1. Mr. X,
I agree with you but I think that we will be on standby for a few months and most of us will think that things are not better. But in the spring we will see things happening.

  2. There is no magic wand in this process as another Mayoral candidate had envisioned. Common sense will prevail and good results will follow. Patience is of the essence. We are fortunate not to be responsible in the maintenance of an Olympic size pool along with the 50 cases of Windex needed to clean the new downtown library. Get back to the roots and make everybody happy with common sense. Doesn't cost anything if you're not egocentric!
